The house formed the centre of a manor, and it often had a great hall in which courts, communal meals and celebrations were held. The 18th-century manor house at Tulfarris has been carefully restored and is the highlight of our resort. Overlooking the golf course and the wilds of Wicklow and beyond, the house is less than 100 metres from our main hotel making it the ideal location for a celebration without missing the facilities of the main hotel. The Manor House is available for exclusive hire so you can make it your private residence for the big day. There are 7 impressive rooms in the manor house, each individually designed with stunning views across the Blessington lakes and Wicklow mountains. Each room features a king-size bed with sumptuous bedding, opulent drapes, deep pile carpets, ensuites and under-floor heating.
Celebrate in our Manor House
Aside from accommodation, we can also offer exclusive use of our manor house for pre and post-wedding celebrations. While we can cater to small parties within the house, fed directly from our main kitchen, the small number of guests may not suit your grand wedding plans. You can make use of the stunning Tulfarris ballroom for your big day, with fantastic catering and plenty of space, and use the manor house for a pre-wedding family dinner or a post-wedding catch-up with select friends and family. The opulent reception rooms & library boast open fires, heavy drapes and luxurious furnishings, ideal for your drinks reception or a private party the day after your wedding.
