Our Story
Danielle & Kevin
A little bit about us both:
Kevin and I met on a flight to Vegas to watch Conor McGregor fight in December 2015.
We are both from Kildare and knew each other but not that well. We have been inseparable ever since.
We have been together 6 years.
Our proposal:
Kev proposed in in front of and audience the Trevi Fountain in Rome in April 2018.
Our suppliers:
Thomas Johnstone Designers designed all signs, table numbers and stationary.
Band was the Electrix.
Church Décor was Blissful Wedding Décor and the Arch and cake hoop supplied by (Sandra) Liaqbell

Our Big Day
Both of us got ready in our parents house. My bridal party went to Pelo in Newbridge for our hair and makeup. it was nice to take the pressure off the house as there wouldn't have been enough space.
We had our ceremony in St Conleths Parish Church in Newbridge. Both our parents were also married in the same church.
We had our photos taken on Tulfarris grounds which I was delighted about as this is one of the main reasons I picked the venue. The weather was quite bad on the morning of the wedding but it cleared up nice in the afternoon and we managed to capture some lovely shots outside.
We had to chicken salad for starter, everybody loved it as it was nice and light.
For the mains we went with a choice of featherblade beef and Turkey and Ham, both were a huge hit! The beef melted in your mouth.
Our first dance was James Arthur - "Say you won't let go"
My most memrable moment was just looking around the room when everybody was on their feet dancing, smiling, laughing and after a tough 18months this is all I wanted from my wedding was to see people unite in celebration and really let their hair down.
Post Wedding celebrations:
We had a small day 2 Celebration in the Milltown inn in Newbridge and an outdoor DJ.
We spent a couple of days with our kids and went to the Monart Spa in Wexford for our minimoon for 3 days and it was bliss after a hectic 2 weeks.
2 months after our wedding we honeymooned to Cancun in Mexico and it was so luxurious. I would definitely recommend classic resorts for booking honeymoons.
Why did we choose Tulfarris?
We had been to 2 wedding in Tulfarris and I instantly feel in love with the grounds! I love the manor house and the vintage vibes and the food always stuck with me. I've never enjoyed wedding food quite like the weddings in Tulfarris. I also love the courtyard for the drinks reception. Its a nice way to have everyone mingle before the dinner.
